Patient's question:
How to treat phimosis adhesion? It has been treated before, but the effect is not very good. What should the patient do?Doctor's answer:
The surgical method can be used for treatment. After disinfection, 2% tetracaine is used for anesthesia. The foreskin orifice is dilated until it can be retracted. If adhesions are severe, a ball-tipped probe may be used to separate them until the foreskin is fully retracted, exposing the glans and frenulum. Undermined smegma or calculus can be removed, then rinsed with normal saline. Disinfected with 1‰ chlorhexidine, a lubricating and analgesic ointment is applied to the foreskin cavity to prevent re-adhesion, and the foreskin is then repositioned.
