Features: This book is a summary of the author's many years of teaching VC courses, scientific research supported by the Provincial Youth Science Fund, and technical development of some horizontal projects. The book is divided into three parts:
Part 1 introduces VC console program design and object-oriented theory, helping readers understand some basic concepts of C++ (such as functions, pointers, programming, programming languages, and object-oriented abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, etc.), and enabling them to perform simple programming using these concepts.
Part 2 explains the process and methods of developing Windows applications using APIs and MFC in the VC development environment. This part is the focus and difficulty of the book, helping readers understand the working mechanism of Windows, learn about Windows program message-driven mechanisms, resource concepts, and the structure of Windows programs. Readers will also master menu design, dialog design, graphics program design, and document/view structure design.
Part 3 covers advanced topics in VC programming, introducing component-based programming and applications, which belongs to the category of new technologies and improvement. The main content includes dynamic link libraries, database programming, and the development and application of COM components using the Active Template Library (ATL), laying the foundation for network program design in distributed environments.
This book can be used as a textbook for computer-related majors in science and engineering at universities and colleges, and is also suitable for enthusiasts of VC language for self-study. At the same time, it will also be helpful for developers of practical application software.
