Features: This dictionary is divided into two parts—Korean-Chinese and Chinese-Korean—and is a language reference tool suitable for beginners and intermediate-level readers, primarily intended for Chinese learners and users. Considering the needs of Korean readers, Pinyin annotations have been added to the Chinese definitions. The Korean-Chinese section contains over 20,000 entries, carefully selected by Yonsei University in Korea based on frequency surveys. The definitions primarily refer to the New East Asian Korean Dictionary. Example sentences were initially drafted by Seoul National University. During the compilation process, adjustments were made to these three aspects—definitions, example sentences, and Pinyin annotations—based on the characteristics of the Chinese language and practical needs, with particularly significant modifications to the example sentences. The Chinese-Korean section includes approximately 20,000 single-character and multi-character entries, with simplified characters annotated with their traditional forms. Except for structural forms and idiomatic phrases, grammatical categories are generally indicated. Necessary example sentences are provided for each entry.
