Features: This book introduces the detailed process of developing applications using C# through practical software development project examples, layer by layer. With the aim of thoroughly applying software engineering principles, it successively presents the processes and methods of developing popular student academic management systems, salary management systems, workflow engines, comprehensive payment systems, and equipment management systems using C#. The examples in this book primarily focus on C/S architecture. To accommodate some readers, a chapter on B/S architecture—specifically the equipment management system—is included, enabling readers to become familiar with developing both C/S and B/S structure applications using C#. The accompanying CD-ROM includes recorded tutorials and explanations on creating databases using popular database management software such as MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle. It also provides detailed recorded tutorials and explanations on configuring the runtime environments for current popular programming languages like ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, C#, and VB, as well as how to connect these languages to databases. Additionally, it includes recorded tutorials and explanations on using development tools for some programming languages, such as JBuilder, Eclipse, and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. The book also provides an in-depth introduction to the detailed process of developing applications using Visual Basic. Specific examples include: transportation industry management systems, vehicle rental management systems, student information management systems, hotel room management systems, and home financial assistant systems.
