How can dead sperm syndrome be treated effectively

Patient's question:

Doctor, I am an infertility patient, and my sperm survival rate is very low. May I ask if I still have a chance to have children? How can dead sperm syndrome be treated well?

Doctor's answer:

In cases of asthenozoospermia, sperm lack the strength to move forward, making it difficult for them to penetrate the cervical canal, the uterine cavity, and reach the fallopian tubes to fertilize the egg, thus leading to impaired fertility. Common causes of asthenozoospermia include:
1. Incomplete maturation or damage to the spermatogenic epithelium in the testes, resulting in poor sperm quality and weak motility;
2. Low seminal fluid volume;
3. Variations in seminal plasma, such as when the epididymis, seminal vesicles, or prostate are inflamed, altering the pH, oxygen supply, nutrition, and metabolic processes, which may either favor or hinder sperm movement and survival. If it involves antisperm antibodies, they can cause sperm agglutination, thereby impairing their motility.
