Features: This textbook is written for undergraduate electrical engineering majors' "Circuit" course. It covers the basic requirements for circuit course teaching in higher education institutions as formulated by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Electrical Engineering Courses in Engineering, with some extensions in certain content. As a textbook for a fundamental technical course, it emphasizes the exposition and application of basic traditional content, providing detailed and clear explanations of fundamental concepts, methods, and theorems. It also includes some basic content of modern circuit theory. The book is divided into nineteen chapters and published in two volumes. The first volume contains thirteen chapters: Circuit Elements and Circuit Laws; Analysis Methods for Simple Resistive Circuits; General Analysis Methods for Linear Resistive Circuits; Some Theorems of Circuits; Nonlinear Resistive Circuits; First-Order Circuits; Second-Order and Higher-Order Circuits; Steady-State Analysis of Sinusoidal Current Circuits; Circuits with Mutual Inductance; Resonance in Circuits; Frequency Characteristics of Circuits; Three-Phase Circuits; Steady-State Response of Circuits to Periodic Excitation. The second volume contains six chapters: Fourier Transform and Laplace Transform; Two-Port Networks; Fundamentals of Network Graph Theory; State Variable Method; Introduction to Nonlinear Circuits; Distributed Parameter Circuits. An appendix is included, introducing magnetic circuits and iron-core coils. Each chapter is accompanied by exercises, and answers are provided at the end of the book. This textbook can be used as a teaching material for undergraduate electrical engineering majors in higher education institutions, or as a reference book for engineering technicians working in fields such as power, electronics, automation, and computer science.
