Did a stroke be contagious or not

Patient's question:

A neighbor has a child who, for some unknown reason, has never been able to speak or walk. Later, it seems he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. They are worried it might be contagious to my child, so they want to know if this condition is actually contagious. Will cerebral palsy be contagious to others?

Doctor's answer:

Hello! Generally, the best treatment effect is achieved within the age of 3. For patients who are older, the treatment effect is relatively poorer. Cerebral palsy treatment should involve the development of individualized treatment plans for each child. First, multidisciplinary rehabilitation training should be conducted. If there are issues that affect rehabilitation training or the child's growth and development, surgical intervention may be necessary, followed by continued rehabilitation training.
