Introduction
ASP.NET is the next-generation Active Server Pages introduced by Microsoft Corporation and is also a part of the Microsoft .NET architecture. It is generated by components provided by the .NET Framework, offering a web application model that enables developers to easily create web applications. ASP.NET supports multiple languages, and this book selects the two most commonly used languages, Visual Basic .NET and C#, to introduce various new applications of ASP.NET. Starting from the basics, the book systematically covers ASP.NET knowledge from aspects such as web forms, custom controls, HTML controls, web controls, web services, web applications, caching, localization information, and .NET database programming. Finally, it provides practical examples of creating an online flower shop and a BBS system. The book is rich in content, comprehensive in knowledge, well-structured, and progresses from simple to complex, making it suitable for network developers and designers.
