Features: The rapid development of information technology and computer science has driven the continuous advancement and innovation of computer basic education. In response, the Ministry of Education has proposed a three-tier teaching system consisting of "Fundamentals of Computer Culture," "Fundamentals of Computer Technology," and "Fundamentals of Computer Applications," as well as a 21st-century-oriented computer basic education. The teaching syllabus for "Fundamentals of Computer Technology" requires students to master a programming language. However, the limited class hours in computer basic education only allow students to start their journey in programming. To meet the needs of senior undergraduate students in science and engineering disciplines who wish to continue learning programming techniques and the desire of graduate students to improve their programming skills, we have written the book "C++ Programming and Software Technology Fundamentals." This book helps students further enhance and master object-oriented programming based on the Windows platform after completing the courses "Fundamentals of Computer Culture" and "C Programming." The book is divided into six chapters: Chapter 1 covers "C++ Fundamentals," Chapter 2 covers "Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming," Chapter 3 covers "Applications of Object-Oriented Programming," Chapter 4 covers "Microsoft Foundation Classes and Message Mapping," Chapter 5 covers "Fundamentals of Visual C++ Programming," and Chapter 6 covers "Fundamentals of Data Structures." The appendix includes a comprehensive application example and answers to exercises. This book can serve as a basic textbook for graduate students in non-computer disciplines, as well as a textbook for students in software colleges and computer science programs.
