Features: Our primary purpose in compiling this book is to transform past exam papers into a model for in-depth study for all candidates. Among the vast array of postgraduate entrance exam review materials, past papers hold the highest authority, as they reflect the future exam's question-setting trends. Candidates should pay close attention to them. The greatest feature of this book is guiding candidates to learn vocabulary and syntax around the exam papers. Through this process, candidates' abilities in vocabulary, sentence structure, and reference relations will be significantly improved, ultimately achieving the effect of learning by analogy and comprehensively enhancing reading comprehension skills and abilities.
Each unit in this book consists of two parts:
1. Reading Past Papers. Candidates can complete this section within the stipulated exam time to train their abilities.
2. Analysis. This part includes three components:
1. Classification and Summary of the Article's Content. The purpose is to help candidates understand the basic structure of the article, as well as to categorize, analyze, and compare similar articles in future readings.
2. Detailed Explanation of Language Points. According to the compilers' rough statistics, this section covers over 30% of the vocabulary in the postgraduate entrance exam syllabus. If we exclude low-difficulty words like "it," "can," and "make" from the syllabus, this section has explained more than half of the challenging vocabulary. Not only does it provide the meanings of syllabus words, but it also employs other learning aids such as word formation techniques, association memory, classic examples, and extended meanings. Through this section, candidates can not only fully grasp the meanings of syllabus words but also accurately understand the precise meanings of the same words in different contexts.
3. Detailed Explanation of Difficult Sentences. The compilers have selected sentences from the text that are particularly challenging in terms of syntactic structure and content expression. They dissect the structure, explain the key points, and then provide the translation. This section not only improves candidates' ability to understand complex sentences but also significantly aids in enhancing their translation skills.
