Features: The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is developed by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in the United States as a standard for international professional English assessment. It is adopted by over 60 countries and more than 4,000 multinational companies and serves as a requirement for personnel recruitment, employee promotions, and overseas assignments. The TOEIC certificate is known as the "access card for professional white-collar workers." The TOEIC test was introduced to China by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in November 2002 and is currently the only examination program in China to be authorized by both the U.S. and China. It is awarded with the "China Professional English Level Certificate" by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to those who pass the test.
