Features: This book is another dedicated by New Oriental School for TOEFL candidates. It is currently the most comprehensive TOEFL preparation book, collecting the widest range of TOEFL phrases, especially grammar and reading phrases. The book not only includes common fixed phrases, idioms, and slang in TOEFL exams but also summarizes a large number of collocations between words. The book comes with audio cassettes. It is divided into 38 units in total. For most phrases, the frequency of their occurrence in exams is provided, along with example sentences and English explanations to enhance understanding. Phrases with frequency should be memorized in priority. Additionally, for students with extra time, the book compiles phrases commonly listed in other phrase books but not yet tested. At the end of each unit, exercises are provided for tested phrases, serving as both self-assessment after learning and pre-learning self-training to identify what has been mastered and what needs improvement, thereby setting learning priorities.
