Features:4.x is a typesetting software developed based on Windows 98/2000/XP, widely used in fields such as newspapers, magazines, and commercial advertisements. The Weisi Typesetting System was an early typesetting software developed by based on Windows 3.x. In terms of functionality, they share many similarities, but4.x offers more powerful features. In terms of operation, due to the differences in their corresponding operating systems, there are quite a few variations. This book adopts a combination of illustrations and text, functional introductions, and practical examples to comprehensively introduce the features and operations of 4.x. Since the Weisi Typesetting System is still used by some users, the last two chapters are dedicated to introducing the basic operations and typesetting of Weisi to facilitate user learning and application. This book consists of 16 chapters, with the first 14 chapters covering the features and operations of 4.x, supplemented by typical examples. The goal is to help readers master the software's features and operational methods through practical examples, enabling them to apply them comprehensively. This book can serve as a self-study guide for beginners of 4.x and as a training textbook for computer training schools. It can also be used as a practical reference book for typesetting personnel in newspapers, magazines, and various publishing houses, as well as for advertising design and production personnel.
