Patient's question:
Since the beginning of the year, I've been feeling like I have a lot of nighttime urination, and I also have frequent urination during the day. When I urinate, there's a stinging sensation, and the amount of urine is not much. I also always feel like I haven't emptied my bladder completely. My lower back, waist, and abdomen are also in severe pain. I suspect it might be prostatitis. Please ask: How is it best to treat prostatitis?Doctor's answer:
Treatment of Prostatitis:(1) General Treatment:
Boost confidence, completely eliminate psychological concerns, restrain sexual desires, but avoid forced coldness. Avoid alcohol and stimulating foods. Take warm sitz baths once daily, undergo local physical therapy, and identify and modify obvious lifestyle triggers, such as preventing prolonged cycling.
(2) Prostate Massage:
Perform prostate massage irregularly to expel prostatitic secretions. Do this once a week, and simultaneously conduct routine and meticulous examination of prostatic fluid to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
(3) Drug Injection:
Insert a specially designed balloon catheter through the urethra, infuse sterile physiological saline into the prostatic urethra, and aspirate several times to remove purulent secretions. Then, re-infuse antibiotics. This procedure is performed once a week.
