Features: Vocabulary is a crucial component of language proficiency and plays a vital role in passing PETS exams at all levels. To help learners at various levels master PETS vocabulary and improve their language skills, we have compiled the National English Level Test Vocabulary Handbook based on the National English Level Test syllabus. The handbook is divided into two volumes: National English Level Test Vocabulary Handbook (Level 1, Level 2) and National English Level Test Vocabulary Handbook (Level 3, Level 4). The National English Level Test Vocabulary Handbook (Level 1, Level 2) includes approximately 5,500 words and related phrases listed in the vocabulary lists of the Level 1 and Level 2 to Level 4 PETS exams. In addition to the original definitions, it also adds new definitions that candidates should master for the Level 3 and Level 4 exams. Each entry includes the word, phonetic transcription, part of speech, and Chinese definitions. The Chinese definitions are arranged in order of frequency of use, which are the key definitions candidates should master. Some entries also include examples, inflectional forms, distinctions, and usage notes, which provide practical guidance for candidates preparing for the exams.
