Features: New Concept English is a globally renowned classic English teaching course. Since its first publication in 1967, it has been favored by English learners worldwide and has won unparalleled acclaim among Chinese English learners. The New Concept English (New Edition) course launched by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press in 1997 is the only revised new edition personally edited by the author of the book. It places greater emphasis on cultivating students' four fundamental English skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—and is more aligned with the characteristics and learning habits of Chinese English learners. This New Concept English (New Edition) supplementary series was personally edited by Professor He Qixin, the original Chinese compiler, and is personally reviewed by Julia Alexander, the wife of the original British compiler L.G. Alexander, and Roy Kingsbury, his long-term collaborator. It is a set of tailor-made supplementary teaching materials designed for Chinese English enthusiasts. It aligns with the learning and communication needs of a broad audience of Chinese readers, providing a comprehensive and multi-layered solution for mastering the New Concept English (New Edition). Not only does it help English enthusiasts maximize their potential during the learning process, but it also enables them to gain more from the New Concept English (New Edition).
