Features: The National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination, uniformly planned by the Ministry of Personnel and implemented by the China International Publishing Group, has been incorporated into the National Vocational Qualification System. According to the "Interim Provisions on the National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination" and the "Implementation Measures for the Secondary and Tertiary Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination" issued by the Ministry of Personnel of the People's Republic of China, experts from the National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination Expert Committee of the China International Publishing Group compiled the "Outline for the English Secondary Translation Oral and Written Translation Examination," which was reviewed and approved by relevant experts organized by the Ministry of Personnel. This outline serves as the guiding document for the English Secondary Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination, the basis for examination question setting, and an important reference guide for examinees. Based on the knowledge and skills required for actual work as translation professionals, it clearly defines the scope, content, and key points of the examination, and proposes tiered requirements for assessment points. "Mastering" refers to key content, "familiar with" refers to important content, and "understanding" refers to related content. Examinees should comprehensively study and understand these requirements to strive to become qualified translation professionals.
