The aural-oral ability test consists of two parts: the listening test is conducted during the preliminary exam, and the speaking test is conducted during the final exam. The listening test lasts 30 minutes, and the written test lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes. The score of the listening test accounts for 20% of the total score of the preliminary exam, while the score of the written test accounts for 80% of the total score of the preliminary exam. The listening test score is included in the candidate's total score.
