Features: Many times, I feel that people today have forgotten to feel empathy for others and to be grateful. I often use an analogy: Being able to live in this universe as a human being is already a blessed thing. How many possibilities are there to become a person? How many chances have been missed? Only a tiny fraction remains, not even a second's difference matters. If even a second is off, it wouldn't be you. Countless possibilities combine just so that you coincidentally end up in this world. So I say: Among all things in the universe, being born as a human is a great fortune! Having gone through so much effort to become a person, what grievances can't be endured, what hardships can't be faced! So while we may be dissatisfied with small things, overall, I am an optimistic person. How can we not be born as humans when we have the chance to be reborn as anything else—like a glass plate? The fundamental structure of objects is the same, the molecules are the same. Why is it that others are glass plates, cups, or tables and chairs, while you are a living, breathing person? In Buddhist terms, "No matter how many times you are reborn, you will never be reborn as a human again." From Xu Xiaoya's article, I gradually resolved this doubt. Don't worry about them—they are so mature, already having moved beyond their hazy self-isolation, relying on self-reliance. It wasn't until late at night during self-study that I began to notice something was off about Lu Mingyi. But what exactly was wrong, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. From the moment I entered the classroom, I saw him slumped over his desk, seemingly lost in dreams with the Lord of Dreams.
