Features: Zhu Xi (1130-1200), styled Huizhi, also known as Zhonghui, was known by the sobriquets Huian, Huiweng, Dунweng, and Cangzhou Bingsou, and called himself Yungu Laoren. He was from Wuyuan (now part of Jiangxi) and resided in Kaoting (now part of Fujian). The first edition of this book was the Baitian Zhangtang edition of the Qianlong era, including four volumes of the chronicle and four volumes of annotations. During its dissemination, various different versions emerged, with the main ones being the Wuyi Yushi edition of the Qianlong 24th year, the Complete Library of the Imperial Collection edition, the Yueyataang Series edition, the Changsha Tangshi edition, the Wuqian Yingshi edition, the Chongwen Book Bureau edition, the Zhejiang Book Bureau supplementary edition, the Wuchang Book Bureau edition, and the Series Collection edition, among others. The appendix at the end of the book includes biographical materials on Zhu Xi, his teacher-student relationships, a bibliography of his works, and various inscriptions and prefaces for reference.
