Features: The fact that the "String Quartet Miniatures" series has reached its fourth volume is something I never anticipated when the first volume was published in January 2001. In terms of composition, there are three characteristics that will remain consistent: 1. Carefully selecting famous compositions from various eras and cultures, maintaining diversity in both themes and styles; 2. Easy to play, simple yet effective in performance; 3. Versatile scores: This volume includes additional parts for a third violin and a cello, based on the standard string quartet instrumentation, allowing for several different performance configurations. The first three volumes of "String Quartet Miniatures" will also adopt the "combinatorial" score format upon reissue.
