Features: Before the age of twenty, if you have never been rebellious, you won’t achieve success; after the age of forty, if you still engage in rebellion, you will be completely unsuccessful. This is a distant city in memory, where teenagers walk to school with a small kitchen knife in their backpacks besides books, to deal with others’ malice. As the city moves toward prosperity with its unique steps, people’s primitive emotions—whether love, hatred, affection, or joy and sorrow—evolve with the city’s development into a fresher civilization. Nowadays, children are picked up by their parents for school, and the fighting among teenagers no longer occurs directly and frequently but appears indirectly in online games. On the surface, people are seemingly more friendly and easier to get along with. However, it’s hard to believe that everything in the past has truly moved away from people—in the backdrop of prosperity, darkness and violence still exist in another form, lurking quietly. The discerning can still recognize it.
