How to deal with diarrhea in a one-year-old baby?

Patient's question:

For the past few days, my child has been experiencing continuous diarrhea, with bowel movements like very thin porridge, about four to five times a day. Some fever has also occurred. I don’t know if it’s due to teething or a viral infection caused by sucking fingers all day. There’s a bit of nasal discharge, but no other symptoms.
Over the past half month, I’ve been giving her American KR colostrum tablets and Enfamil AR bagged formula (stage 3), as well as KR multi-plant extract chewable tablets. When I went for a check-up, the doctor said the diarrhea was caused by damp-heat and teething. They only prescribed a small amount of medicine. I’ve seen two doctors already.
Now, my child has lost weight, and it’s so pitiful. Could any mom or doctor help me? Can anyone test whether the issue is with the KR colostrum or the Enfamil?
Duration of illness and current condition: Lasted for several days. Current general condition: Still having diarrhea, not eating meat, eggs, or dairy, only drinking thin porridge and eating white rice. Medical history: For a few

Doctor's answer:

Mainly related to factors such as infection and unhygienic diet. A stool routine test and rotavirus test are needed. If white blood cell count is high, oral cefpodoxime tablets, Lactobacillus acidophilus, or bentonite clay can be used for treatment; if white blood cell count is normal, there is no need to take cefpodoxime. Drink more light salt water. If the child shows poor spirits and reduced urine output, it indicates dehydration and may require intravenous fluid treatment, with hospitalization if necessary. Pay attention to hygiene in diet, avoid cold or leftover food. The course of treatment for gastroenteritis is generally about one week.
