Features: Every thing has its process of occurrence, development, and extinction, which is the basic law of its existence. The universe, as the largest individual that humans can currently define, is believed by scientists to have been born from "nothing" through the Big Bang. Will it also move towards death in some way? Where will the ultimate fate of the universe be? Modern scientists have proposed two possibilities regarding how the universe develops: one is that the universe will continue to expand, and the other is that the expansion will reach a certain limit, then stop, and eventually begin to contract. Scientists have basically determined that since the universe was formed by the Big Bang, it has been 100 billion to 200 billion years. Taking the average value, it means the universe has a history of 150 billion years. However, scientists cannot yet determine when the universe will end its life, that is, they cannot determine how long the universe will live. Perhaps, this will be an extremely long time, a number so large that it is hard to imagine, maybe several trillion years, hundreds of trillion years, or thousands of trillion years! If the universe expands indefinitely, during this process, the stars will burn out their internal nuclear fuel and eventually become white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes. Subsequently, the entire universe will become an incredibly massive black hole, with all matter in the universe being swallowed by the black hole, and the entire universe will become pitch black, turning into a dark world. Eventually, the black hole will also disappear, and the fundamental particles that make up matter will decay, and the universe will return to its original chaotic state. So, if the universe expands to a certain extent and then begins to shrink, what kind of scenario would that be? First, scientists cannot determine when the universe will transition from expansion to contraction. Second, they can only speculate theoretically about what will happen after contraction. The theoretical speculation might be as follows: Once the universe begins to contract, the density of matter in space will gradually increase, causing the distance between stars to shorten, which will naturally have different effects on the stars. However, the impact of temperature changes on the stars might be greater. During the gradual contraction of the universe, its temperature will gradually rise. First, due to the rise in temperature, life on Earth may no longer be able to exist. Next, Earth will also perish. Subsequently, when the temperature of the entire universe rises above the highest temperature of the sun, stars will also turn into gas and disappear into the vast universe. Meanwhile, black holes can devour matter in the universe, gradually becoming "fatter" and heavier. At the same time, they continue to merge, eventually forming a giant black hole. The universe will then follow the reverse process of the continuous expansion after the Big Bang, returning to its initial state. At that time, will the universe explode again, giving birth to a new universe body, expand, and then contract into a black hole, repeating this cycle endlessly? P19
