However, due to his strong will, effective treatment, and proper exercise, he recovered from all of them and lived to be over a hundred years old. He was highly knowledgeable, had an excellent medical ethic, and possessed superb medical skills. During his time, he was renowned both in the court and among the people, respected by emperors, generals, and scholars. He saved the lives of many patients and was deeply beloved by the masses. Especially his monumental works, Emergency Handbook of a Thousand Gold Pieces and Companion to the Emergency Handbook of a Thousand Gold Pieces (both books are collectively known as The Thousand Gold Pieces), have remained timeless and have had a profound influence, holding a historical position in the history of Chinese medicine. His outstanding achievements in medical science and medical ethics have educated generations of Chinese doctors for thousands of years. His profound academic thoughts and rich medical legacy have become one of the key research focuses for scholars both domestically and internationally. This book, with thousands of formulas, meticulous research, effective prescriptions, and accessible language, also includes annotations and interpretations of more than thirty medical formulas and historical inscriptions related to the "King of Medicine," making it truly valuable and extremely rare.
