Features: The writing concept and style positioning of the book "General Theory of Actuarial Science" propose the significance of writing and the key content and features. As an exploration, "General Theory of Actuarial Science" is creatively divided into four parts: Part One Life Insurance Actuarial Science, Part Two Non-Life Insurance Actuarial Science, Part Three Health Insurance Actuarial Science, and Part Four Social Insurance Actuarial Science. It is hoped that this arrangement will establish an integrated knowledge system of actuarial science, and such content and format have not been found domestically, demonstrating innovation and systematicity. This all-around discussion of the knowledge system and some new developments in actuarial science will strongly promote the development of actuarial education and practice in China, addressing the shortcomings of existing actuarial textbooks in reflecting new knowledge, especially in health insurance and social insurance actuarial science. The knowledge system of "General Theory of Actuarial Science" is composed of these four parts. Each part is relatively independent, and the content of each part avoids a simple presentation of its respective field but focuses on certain aspects, highlighting the tool-oriented features while appropriately reflecting some new situations and developments in each field. The knowledge and content of all four parts form a relatively complete and organic whole.
