Features: Chinese painting emphasizes brushwork, spiritual resonance, artistic conception, and then interest. The techniques of Chinese painting are limited, yet they are infinitely adaptable. The "uncontrollability" of freehand painting makes it difficult for artists to surpass the threshold of artistic mastery; only those who achieve enlightenment can encounter the essence of painting and unlock the mysteries of creation. Spiritual resonance refers to the supreme expression of vitality and the liveliness of artistic charm. When the artistic path connects with the divine, it is full of vitality, with harmonious breath and orderly principles, creating a rhythm of alternation. Artistic conception is the realm beyond the painting, captivating the soul and guiding the viewer into a transcendent state: some may immerse themselves within it, while others open their hearts and minds, shedding worldly concerns and purifying their souls. Interest lies in conveying emotions and intentions through a single flower, bird, person, or object. When in a state of profound connection, the artist and the object become companions, with a mutual response and spiritual exchange, revealing endless natural charm. Chinese painting has never judged its quality by size; grand masterpieces are not lacking, but small works often contain more exquisite creations. Small and miniature pieces are easier to grasp the essence of Chinese painting. Therefore, if one wishes to savor the true meaning of Chinese painting, small works are the way to go. This collection features selected masterpieces by contemporary masters of figure painting, offered for exchange and study among fellow artists.
