Features: The "Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China" has been recently promulgated and will take effect from January 1 next year. It is the first comprehensive legal document on cadre personnel management since the founding of our country over 50 years ago, marking a milestone in the legalization of cadre personnel management and holding profound and significant implications. One of the key procedures for recruiting civil servants is the examination, which serves as an important technical means for selecting the most qualified candidates. The content of the examination is designed based on the basic competencies required of civil servants and the different categories of positions, conducted among candidates who have passed the preliminary qualification review. The purpose of the examination is to assess the knowledge level and qualities and abilities of candidates that meet the requirements of the position. With the continuous improvement of the examination system, the methods of the examination have also become increasingly diverse. In China, the main methods for recruiting civil servants are written tests and interviews. The written test assesses candidates' cultural and professional knowledge levels, text analysis and interpretation skills, comprehensive analysis abilities, and thinking abilities through standardized questions and written answers. The main subjects of the written test include "Administrative Professional Ability Test," "Zhong Lun" (Central Policy), and "Public Basic Knowledge." The content of the examination includes public subjects and professional subjects. Public subjects are determined by the central civil servant administrative department, while professional subjects are determined by the central civil servant administrative department in conjunction with provincial-level civil servant administrative departments or relevant central-level employing departments according to the requirements of different positions. In recent years, the scientific rigor of civil servant recruitment examinations has continuously strengthened, and the difficulty has correspondingly increased. The question bank has also become increasingly refined. The requirements for candidates' ability to understand and apply knowledge have been raised, and the distribution of questions testing understanding, application, and comprehensive abilities has become more rational. The difficulty of the questions follows a normal distribution, with more medium-difficulty questions, enhancing the discrimination of the examination. The interview involves direct interaction between examiners and candidates or placing candidates in specific simulated scenarios for observation, to comprehensively evaluate their qualities and abilities. Each interviewer has the right to independently judge and score candidates, effectively preventing and avoiding arbitrariness and errors in talent selection. The content of the interview is broad, and methods are constantly innovated. The main content of the interview includes: comprehensive analysis ability, alignment of motivation with the intended position, language expression skills, adaptability, planning, organization, and coordination abilities, interpersonal awareness and skills, emotional control, and etiquette. These are factors that cannot be reflected in the written test. The main methods include structured interviews, leaderless group discussions, and psychological tests. The specific assessment criteria and methods of the interview are determined by the recruitment administrative department. To ensure that the recruitment examination maintains unity while adapting to the classification of civil servant positions, is more scientific and targeted, the "Civil Servant Law" proposes that the content of the examination be set based on the basic competencies required of civil servants and the different categories of positions. Basic competencies are the general knowledge and qualities that civil servants must possess to perform their duties. Both the public subjects in the written test and the interview assess these competencies. Therefore, a well-designed examination book with a scientific structure, comprehensive content, balanced difficulty, and no of key knowledge points will undoubtedly give you an edge in the examination. In response to the promulgation and implementation of the "Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China" and based on the latest examination syllabus, we have compiled this set of national civil servant recruitment examination books. It is the only examination book in the country that has been reviewed and recommended nationwide by the National Senior Civil Servant Training Center under the Ministry of Personnel, truly offering in-depth and nationwide applicability, the dedication of numerous recruitment experts, and enables candidates to efficiently, conveniently, and accurately master the essence of the civil servant examination within a relatively short period, quickly integrating into the ranks of national civil servants.
