Features: "Tao Te Ching" is a representative work of the pre-Qin school of Taoism. Philosophically, Laozi is an objective idealist. The book is divided into two parts, the upper part "The Way" and the lower part "The Power." He proposed the concept of "the Tao" to replace the god who governs all creations. The upper part "The Way" reflects Laozi's simple dialectical thought and also elaborates on many practical life experiences. He explains the relationships between beauty and ugliness, good and evil, weakness and strength, ruler and people, etc., through contradictions such as existence and non-existence, difficulty and ease, length and shortness, height and lowness, softness and hardness, supreme and strong, using the principle of unity and opposition. It reveals that all things in the world are composed of two opposing aspects, which are closely interconnected and interdependent. The lower part "The Power" is the moral embodiment of Laozi's social and political ideals through the wisdom of sages.
