How to treat prostatitis

Patient's question:

I am over forty years old this year. I suffer from prostatitis. The doctor said that early treatment is necessary because it is highly harmful. How can prostatitis be treated?

Doctor's answer:

Prostatitis patients often experience emotional tension and instability, and frequently have sexual psychological abnormalities and severe anxiety. In prostatitis patients, the number of white blood cells and fat-containing macrophages in the expressed prostatic fluid is within the normal range. Prostatitis patients exhibit abnormal urine flow, including slow stream, incomplete emptying; the uroflowmetry shows a "tooth-shaped" wave, increased urine flow, with the characteristic of mild or normal maximum flow rate impairment, while the average flow rate is significantly reduced, or the average flow rate is still at the lower limit of normal, but the voiding time is shortened. In some long-term cases, a significant residual urine may reappear.
