Features: Picking up every coin on the ground.
A young British man and a young Jewish man went looking for jobs together. Both harbored ambitions for success and sought opportunities suitable for their development. One day, as they were walking down the street, they both spotted a coin dropped on the ground. The British man glanced without even bending down and walked past, while the Jewish man excitedly picked it up. The British man showed disdain at the Jewish man's action: "Picking up a single coin—what a shameless person!"
The Jewish man, watching the British man walk away, reflected: "To let money slip by without a second thought—what a shameless person!" Later, both ended up working at the same company. The company was small, the work exhausting, and the salary low. The British man disdainfully left, while the Jewish man happily stayed. Two years later, they met again on the street. The Jewish man had become a boss, while the British man was still looking for a job. The British man couldn’t understand: "How could such a shameless person become wealthy so quickly?"
The Jewish man replied: "Because I don’t walk past a single coin like a gentleman. I cherish every penny. And since you won’t even pick up a coin, how could you possibly get rich?"
The British man wasn’t uninterested in money; he just kept his eyes fixed on big money while ignoring small amounts. That’s why his wealth always seemed to be just "around the corner." This was the answer.
For someone with a high financial IQ, wealth accumulation starts with "every single coin." A person who wants to get rich will never discard small amounts of money. They understand that any success is built from small beginnings—without this mindset, it’s impossible to achieve greater wealth.
One’s attitude toward money also reflects one’s attitude toward life and career. Only those who never chase unrealistic goals can lay a solid foundation for their future. Conversely, not only will they fail to attain great wealth, but they may even miss out on small amounts.
