Features: The Spiritual Power to Change Everything
A great thinker once told people, "All life resumes must be ranked behind the spirit of taking responsibility." The spirit of daring to take responsibility is the power to change everything. It can transform your mediocre life into one of excellence and distinction; it can help you win the trust and respect of others, thereby strengthening your fragile relationships; more importantly, it can make you a lucky recipient of good opportunities, frequently favored by them, and thus reversing your downward career trajectory. If you are already smart and hardworking but still achieving mediocre results, then please examine whether you possess the spirit of daring to take responsibility. Once you do, you will gain the spiritual power to change everything.
In this highly competitive commercial society, bosses are increasingly appreciating employees who dare to take responsibility. Because only such people inspire trust, are worth associating with, and can be relied upon. Only such people also possess an entrepreneurial spirit, bringing immeasurable wealth and benefits to the company and organization. Therefore, in the process of working or doing things, we should demand ourselves to possess the spirit of daring to take responsibility. Once an ordinary employee develops this spirit, their abilities can be fully unleashed, and their potential can be continuously tapped, thereby creating tremendous benefits for the company while also advancing their own career.
Dale was a typist in the office of a large company. One day at noon, all her colleagues went out for lunch, but she stayed behind to tidy up. At that moment, a director entered the office looking for some letters. Although this was not Dale's responsibility, she still replied, "Although I know nothing about these letters, I will do my best to find them and place them on your desk." When she placed the items the director needed on his desk, he was very pleased.
Four weeks later, during a company management meeting, a vacancy for a higher position arose. The president consulted the director, who recalled the girl with the spirit of responsibility—Dale. As a result, he recommended her, and her position was promoted two levels.
Paul Chalep, chairman of Seven-Up Company in the United States, said, "I warn the people in our company: if anyone makes a mistake and refuses to take responsibility, I will fire them. Because such people clearly have no enough interest in our company, and it shows a lack of responsibility, making them ineligible to be part of our company."
Daring to take responsibility and being willing to bear it is an embodiment of a proactive and enterprising spirit. When a person wants to achieve their inner dreams and resolve to change their life and career circumstances, the first thing they need to change is their own thoughts and perceptions. They must learn to approach things from the perspective of responsibility, maintain a clear understanding of the work they do, and strive to cultivate the spirit of daring to take responsibility. Because this is the true virtue of an outstanding employee.
