Features: This book, in the process of writing each operation guide, refers to a large number of new domestic and international pediatric nursing operation standards, combined with the actual situation of pediatric nursing, guided by the "family-centered care" concept, to provide care for children that meets their growth and development characteristics. On the basis of basic nursing operation techniques, it supplements and updates many pediatric specialized operations and new pediatric nursing operation techniques, such as the operation and clinical maintenance of PICC/P0RT (subcutaneously implanted pump). The entire book contains a total of 107 common pediatric nursing operations, which are structurally divided into three parts: Part one is based on the basic needs of children, including meeting the needs of cleanliness, nutrition, and activity; the second part is treatment needs, such as measurement, medication administration, specimen collection, central venous catheter care, nosebleed care, wound care, and special care; the third part is specialized nursing operations, classified systematically into the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, and urinary system. For each pediatric nursing operation, it includes four aspects: purpose, performer, material preparation, and operation steps and key points, providing reference standards and applications for clinical nurses. In the writing of each operation, it is divided into four major sections: purpose, performer, material preparation, and steps. Each different operation has different qualifications for the performer, and the steps include key point explanations, providing a theoretical basis for clinical nurses, facilitating better mastery and understanding of the operations through the combination of theory and practice. This book can serve as a teaching reference for nursing students and clinical instructors, as well as a guide for pediatric frontline nurses when performing nursing operations, and a standard and tool for nursing managers when conducting pediatric nursing quality checks.
