To accelerate the reform of vocational and technical education and explore the cultivation model of skilled talents, the vocational education sector has continuously conducted research on teaching concepts and reforms in teaching methods in recent years. Among them, modular teaching is a highly representative teaching method. To meet the needs of modular teaching reform in mechanical and electrical engineering majors across various regions, we organized the writing of four modular teaching materials: "Fundamentals of Mechanical Processing," "Lathe Processing Skills," "Basic Electrical and Electronic Technology," and "Electrical Maintenance Skills." This set of teaching materials breaks away from the traditional subject-based curriculum system and replaces it with a completely new modular curriculum system. Based on the requirements of relevant "National Occupational Standards" and the needs of actual job roles, it considers both the cultivation of common basic qualities and abilities for a specific industry (occupational group), enhancing students' occupational adaptability and transferability, and emphasizes the development of job-specific occupational skills to promote the cultivation goal of being skilled in multiple areas. This set of teaching materials strives for scientific innovation in both presentation format and content structure: First, in terms of content, it integrates the relevant knowledge and skills of traditional subject-based courses, effectively achieving a close integration of theory and practice, promoting synchronous and integrated teaching of knowledge and skills, and facilitating the cultivation of basic qualities and practical abilities. Second, in terms of presentation format, it emphasizes concise writing and rich charts and tables, achieving a visual and intuitive presentation to adapt to students' reading habits and learning characteristics. Based on the teaching organization process, learning objectives, introductory guidance, knowledge learning, ability training, and knowledge-skill testing sections are divided, and various teaching activities such as observation and reflection, discussion and analysis, and resource links are interspersed, so that teachers can organize teaching scientifically and effectively when using them.
