Patient's question:
This week, I've been feeling like I can't fully empty my bladder when urinating, and it seems like I lack strength when urinating, with very thin urine stream, even feeling like I can't urinate properly. Is this condition prostatitis? If so, please ask: What foods should prostatitis patients avoid?Doctor's answer:
Prostate hyperplasia, also known as fibrosis. The symptoms are primarily manifested in two groups: bladder irritation symptoms; the other is obstructive symptoms caused by fibrotic prostate blocking the urinary tract. Bladder irritation symptoms: frequent urination, urgency, increased nocturia, and urge incontinence. Frequent urination is an early sign of prostate hyperplasia, especially when the number of nocturia increases continuously, which is clinically significant. This condition has three main characteristics: reduced prostate volume; bladder outlet obstruction; and lower urinary tract symptoms such as difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and urgency. It is recommended that patients with prostate hyperplasia seek medical attention promptly for examination and treatment.
