Where are the good hospitals for varicocele?

Patient's question:

I have varicocele for a while now, and the symptoms have been getting worse recently. I also feel pain in the groin area, and the testicles feel like there are worms coiled on them when touched. I heard this condition can affect fertility. I've been married for over a year and I'm really worried. Could you please tell me where there are good hospitals for varicocele?

Doctor's answer:

Mainly, varicocele is a pathological condition caused by impaired venous drainage of the pampiniform plexus due to various reasons, leading to local venous dilatation, tortuosity, and elongation. This condition is more commonly recurrent on the left side, but it can also occur on the right. In clinical diagnosis, many patients with varicocele also have symptoms such as oligospermia, azoospermia, or reduced sexual function, which interfere with fertility. It is more common in young and middle-aged adults. Some patients experience no discomfort or obvious symptoms, and the condition is only discovered during routine health examinations. A small number of patients may feel a heavy, aching sensation in the scrotum, which sometimes radiates to the groin and perineum. Symptoms may alleviate after prolonged standing or exertion, and improve after lying down and resting. In severe cases, the (heavy pain) may interfere with walking or lead to neurosis, and during standing, even a cord-like or mass-like swelling may be visible in the anterior superior part of the scrotum.
