Here are some brief notes on the annotation work of Ming Dynasty South Records. Although this book was completed in the 10th year of the Kangxi reign (1670), due to the literary restrictions of the early Qing Dynasty, it was never published until the Jiaqing and Daoguang reigns, when the literary regulations were somewhat relaxed. It was then published in Beijing's Liulichang by the wood-type printing method of "Bansong Jushi," comprising 18 volumes.
