Features: The "Beijing University Series on the Tang Dynasty" is a batch of achievements from the "Tang Dynasty Research Program." It conducts a comprehensive exploration from aspects such as the integration of political systems, coordination of international relations, efficiency of state operations, and the rich diversity of social customs. It also provides a strong explanation for why the Tang Dynasty thrived and offers comprehensive research and summaries in areas where domestic studies are relatively weak, such as women and society, religious beliefs and society, and regions and space. This "series" is a major project under Beijing University's "Project 985," known as the "Tang Dynasty Project." Each sub-topic has been thoroughly deliberated and finalized. Following the interdisciplinary academic development trend, careful research has been conducted in terms of topic selection and personnel composition, finally determining a batch of five volumes, totaling six monographs. The research findings in this series represent the current direction and high level of Tang Dynasty studies, with many papers being forward-looking. It is believed that the publication of this "series" will have a significant impact and become a new contribution to Tang Dynasty studies in the early 21st century.
