Features: Zizhi Tongjian is one of the most important chronological histories in ancient China, compiled under the leadership of the famous Song Dynasty scholar and statesman Sima Guang. Judging from its title, its purpose was to provide rulers with a mirror for governing the world, enabling them to learn from the experiences and lessons of past dynasties' successes and failures. The history recorded in Zizhi Tongjian spans from the Warring States period to the Five Dynasties period, covering a total of 1,362 years. This book is divided into eight sections: Emperors, Chancellors, Famous Generals, Scholars, Righteous Heroes, Wars, and Wisdom. Using a correct historical perspective, it recreates the historical figures and events recorded in the original work in the form of stories. In addition to drawing material from this historical text, some chapters also refer to records from other historical books, making the narrative more detailed. It is hoped that the publication of this book will help young readers gain a deeper understanding and emotional connection to the history and traditional culture of our motherland.
