Features: "The Practical Legal Series" is a highly practical popular legal reading series, recognized as a key publication under the national "Nineth Five-Year Plan" for publishing. Our goal is to interpret laws and legal principles in a lively and engaging manner, better promoting socialist democracy and the rule of law, and enhancing the overall quality and legal awareness of the general public. The series is characterized by the following: , the rationality of topic selection. Currently, China has issued hundreds of laws and regulations. Attempting to explain each one within a short period is impractical. Therefore, the series focuses on major legal branches that have a significant impact, broad coverage, and are closely related to the production and daily lives of the general public. Second, the originality of its format. The series is neither a theoretical work in law nor a simple compilation of cases, but rather a perfect combination of theoretical analysis and practical examples. Based on the legal provisions of each branch, the series divides them into several thematic chapters, each structured into three levels: legal principles, cases, and analysis. These three elements are organically integrated, complementing each other. Third, the readability of its content. As a popular reading series, it features vivid and clear writing, especially with its numerous typical and representative cases. As a legal reading series, its legal principles and analyses maintain a high theoretical standard, with precise conceptual expressions and in-depth yet accessible explanations. In this way, readers can gradually improve their understanding and application of the law through a relaxed reading experience. The publication of "The Practical Legal Series" represents an attempt and exploration in making legal books more accessible and popularizing specialized academic knowledge to the general public. We hope this attempt and exploration will be accepted and recognized by a broad readership.
Technology is the primary driver and factor of economic growth, a fact beyond dispute. Meanwhile, the positive role of the "Patent Law" in promoting economic and technological development has become a global consensus. In this context, the 17th session of the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress, held in August 2000, revised the old "Patent Law." The newly revised "Regulations for the Implementation of the Patent Law" also took effect on July 1, 2001. This will undoubtedly play a significant role in China's economic development, as well as in technological innovation and progress. To better promote the "Patent Law," we have compiled this book, "The Practical Legal Series on the Patent Law." When writing this book, we avoided overly theoretical approaches and instead focused on combining theoretical analysis with practical examples. We paid attention to incorporating new experiences from patent law practice and recent research findings, striving for correct perspectives and easy-to-understand content.
