Features: This series of teaching materials was compiled based on the following philosophy.
Three-dimensional teaching materials. The textbook is the material for students' learning and the tool for teachers' service. In the teaching process, students and teachers are equal subjects, and their enthusiasm is indispensable. A good textbook should be a knowledge platform that includes theoretical statements, thematic discussions, case analyses, key summaries, thinking and exercises, and other elements.
Completeness and openness. Civil law has a relatively stable conceptual system and logical structure. However, this system construction does not have a unique model, nor does it have a rigid and unchanging standard. Civil law textbooks should reflect the achievements accumulated historically and the new knowledge of the times. In the process of textbook writing, on the one hand, it is necessary to take care of the completeness of the existing system of civil law, and on the other hand, it is necessary to face reality and the future, to create and progress. During the writing process, meticulous organization, reasonable editing, highlighting key points, and appropriate balance between detail and brevity should be ensured, so that students can grasp the system and principles by understanding key knowledge and exploring difficult issues, and apply what they have learned to broader contexts.
Theoretical and practical. The textbook should reflect the value concepts and cultural connotations of modern civil law, especially the spirit of supreme civil rights and the principle of rights-based orientation, as well as the balance between individual freedom and social interests, and the pursuit of efficiency and the consideration of humanistic care.
Generality and individuality. The textbook must reflect the knowledge generally recognized by the academic community. However, this does not prevent it from containing or expressing the academic individuality of the author. This is not only reflected in the unique style of the arrangement, but also in the academic thoughts and original insights in the presentation of knowledge.
Moving forward through exploration. The completion of a new type of textbook requires a spirit of exploration and solid work, as well as continuous improvement. There is no perfect textbook in the world, nor is there a one-time-and-for-all textbook.
