Juliet accepts all this with the gentle and melancholic love of a nightingale. Shakespeare's eternal love tragedy has been translated into Chinese in various versions in our country, but the English-Chinese parallel edition of Mr. Cao Yu's translation is published for the first time. Mr. Cao Yu had many reflections while translating this play. Here is an excerpt for the readers: "I think this tragedy is full of optimistic emotions and does not make people sad. It's like the weather in April, suddenly sunny and then rainy, like a girl who laughs loudly at one moment and then leans on your shoulder, crying softly."
