Features: With China's entry into the WTO, economic and management activities have taken on an international dimension. Among these, adhering to rules has become a significant challenge for the Chinese government, enterprises, and markets after joining the WTO. The WTO spirit advocates fair, just, and open market transactions, which requires the legalization of economic and management affairs and the reduction of the influence of arbitrary rule-making. Therefore, government economic management departments must lead by example in establishing a legal awareness and implement governance in accordance with the law. The general public and economic organizations should actively study the law, both in safeguarding their rights and interests and in supervising and participating in social and economic management activities, thereby promoting the development of China's socialist legal system. For a long time, foreign investors in China have been more concerned about the stability and transparency of the investment legal environment rather than policy incentives. This issue is also a common challenge for domestic investors in the new context. Therefore, economic management based on the law is imperative. This series of textbooks selects four legal departments closely related to economics and management—Civil and Commercial Law, Economic Law, Administrative Law, and International Economic Law—for compilation. It is divided into four series according to different branches of law, with each series including three parts: "Theoretical Summary," "Typical Cases," and "Teaching Regulations." It is based on the fundamental logical framework of branch law while also emphasizing practical relevance, selecting several cases and regulations closely related to economics and management for analysis and explanation. This series of textbooks adheres to the consistent high standards of "high quality" and "high level" set by the China Renmin University Press. The "Theoretical Summary" section is independently compiled by leading scholars in their respective fields, who also lead the writing of the "Typical Cases" and "Teaching Regulations" sections. The aim is to present a series of authoritative, innovative, targeted, and applicable textbooks to readers with a strong academic team.
