Features: We summarize a design project into seven independent stages, including planning, conceptual design, preliminary design, detailed design, construction drawings, contract documents, and construction. Each stage requires solving a certain number of problems to achieve satisfactory results. Design drawing is particularly important in the second, third, and fourth stages of the design activity (i.e., conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design stages). This book introduces various drawing tools to students and practitioners, as these tools are fundamental means of visual expression in the design process. Axonometric drawings, perspective drawings, and conceptual sketches are the most common manual drawing methods in current design practice. The chapter titled "Three-Dimensional Models" features drawing works created before the construction of the building, showcasing digital methods that differ from traditional presentation drawings. These works also emphasize the complementarity between traditional hand-drawn solutions and sketches and computer-assisted drawing.
