Features: The content of this book reflects the significant developments and changes in China's criminal legislation and criminal justice. These developments and changes have been reflected to varying degrees in some textbooks or other works. To ensure that these developments and changes in criminal legislation and criminal justice are fully incorporated into criminal law reference books for a broader readership, this is the purpose of compiling the Practical Dictionary of Criminal Law. In recent years, China's criminal law research has achieved fruitful results, and the field of criminal law has continuously expanded. Comparative criminal law and international criminal law content have also been integrated. During the compilation of this dictionary, we have paid attention to incorporating some new content and perspectives from both Chinese and foreign criminal law into relevant entries.
The Practical Dictionary of Criminal Law is organized according to the serial system of criminal law, with each section maintaining the completeness of the criminal law system. The entries in this dictionary are primarily single words in criminal law, such as criminal law, crime, and penalty. There are also some common terms, such as justifications for excluding criminal liability, forms of joint criminal liability, the process of intentional crime, and the application of concurrent sentences.
The definitions of the entries in this dictionary are expressed in standardized modern Chinese. Generally, the definitions are not divided into paragraphs, and different contents are organized using serial numbers. The laws and regulations cited in the definitions are, except for a few that use book titles, quoted without book titles. In most cases, you can find the corresponding entries by following the criminal law system and using the dictionary's index. This dictionary is also equipped with a Pinyin index appended to the main text for convenient reference.
