Pregnant for 37 days, thyroid function FT3 and T4 are elevated, TSH

Patient's question:

Last April, I was five months pregnant and unfortunately experienced a miscarriage. On February 1st, I went to the hospital for a check-up on my vaginal discharge, which showed a fungal infection of one+. On February 17th, we had sexual intercourse, and on March 8th, I discovered I was pregnant. In the past few days, I have had some coffee-colored discharge in my underwear. Today, I went to the hospital for a blood test, including blood sugar, early pregnancy tests (two items), complete blood count, and three thyroid function tests. Only the thyroid function tests were abnormal; the other three were normal.
Here are the results of the thyroid function tests:
Free Triiodothyronine (FT3): Result 17.04, Reference Range: 3.1-6.80
Free Thyroxine (FT4): Result 53.38, Reference Range: 12.0-22.0
Sensitive Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH): Result 0.005, Reference Range: 0.27-4.20
What should I do now? Will it affect the fetus?

Doctor's answer:

During pregnancy, radioactive iodine or surgical treatment cannot be used, so medication is the only option. However, some of the medication passes through the placenta. Although there are no obvious teratogenic side effects, the principle of use should still be to use a small and appropriate amount to avoid affecting the thyroid function of the fetus.
