The book focuses on the development and utilization of five major types of resources, introducing current global environmental issues and China's environmental resource status and prevention and treatment strategies. It also provides a detailed explanation of the basic theories of sustainable development. For ease of learning and reference, each chapter includes review questions, and an appendix contains selected excerpts from important international and domestic environmental documents.
This book can serve as a teaching material for environmental majors in higher education institutions, as well as for non-environmental majors and professionals engaged in environmental protection. The book covers a broad range of knowledge and strives for clarity in editing, emphasizing the following aspects:
1. Introducing related environmental issues from the perspective of the irrational development and utilization of resources as a major cause of environmental problems, achieving a combination of resources and the environment.
