Features: The book "Classroom Management" was compiled in response to the actual situation where teacher training programs in China's normal universities lack classroom management education and teaching materials, as well as the need for theoretical guidance in classroom management among practicing primary and secondary school teachers. It aims to meet the requirement of "building a high-quality teacher team that fully promotes high-quality education." The outline for the book was completed in the autumn of 1989. At that time, the author was applying for a teaching position in Changzhi. Having attended several national educational and teaching theory seminars in Hangzhou, Xi'an, and other places, the author had the opportunity to share some of their immature insights with others and engage in discussions, which unexpectedly resonated with their peers. Upon returning to their unit, they quickly drafted the outline and, during academic exchanges at some schools in the province, gradually introduced some of their ideas, which drew strong responses and encouragement from many colleagues to complete the book as soon as possible. However, due to heavy writing tasks and subsequent job transfers, the drafting work on the book was repeatedly delayed. Fortunately, the outline was continuously revised and supplemented based on educational developments and relevant information. In March 1999, the author invited professional teachers from several universities and provincial model class teachers from several middle schools to discuss and finalize the outline, closely aligning it with the content of quality education. Subsequently, collaborative writing work began. After four months of effort from the writing team and two months of editorial work by the chief editor, the manuscript was submitted to the People's Education Press, where it was included in the publishing schedule.
