Patient's question:
A week ago, due to abnormal leukorrhea accompanied by itching, the diagnosis was candidal vulvovaginitis.Doctor's answer:
In your case, it might be candidiasis. Patients with candidiasis exhibit increased vaginal discharge, itching and burning sensation in the external genitalia and vagina, painful urination, and often redness and swelling around the external genitalia. The skin changes can vary widely; they may develop very superficial vesicular papules in clusters, or form eczema-like erosion, limited to the external genitalia or extending to the perineum, around the anus, and into the groin folds, resembling acute or subacute eczema completely. The labia and the area near the clitoris may have thickened mucosa, with redness and erosion on the skin surfaces that are in contact. In some cases, it can cause small white pustules, and in severe cases, ulcers, pain in the external genitalia, and local lymph node enlargement. Baking soda solution can be used for external washing, which may be effective to some extent.
