Patient's question:
2011, Candidiasis, Lack of libido, Huaiji People's HospitalDoctor's answer:
In your case, it could be a fungal vaginal infection. Patients with fungal vaginal infection may experience increased vaginal discharge, itching and burning sensation in the external genitalia and vagina, painful urination, and often redness and swelling around the external genitalia. The skin changes can vary widely; they may develop as shallow blisters and papules in clusters, or form eczema-like erosion, localized to the external genitalia or extending to the perineum, around the anus, and into the groin folds, resembling acute or subacute eczema completely. The labia and the area near the clitoris may have thickened mucosa, with reddened and eroded skin surfaces where the skin touches. In some cases, it may cause small white pustules, and in severe cases, ulcers, pain in the external genitalia, and local lymph node enlargement. It can be treated by washing with a solution of sodium bicarbonate. This method may be effective to some extent.
